Description: AgrAbility is a grant program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture that provides education, assistance and support to farmers and ranchers with disabilities. Statewide AT Programs are collaborating with AgrAbility to reach out to rural areas of the state and to provide access to AT to farmers and their families. A conference call held on March 22, 2007 provided an overview of the AgrAbility Program from a national perspective, an overview of specific state models, partnerships and relationships of the AgrAbility Programs and tips and strategies on why and how to become involved with AgrAbility in your state. |
