Public Awareness

AT Act Programs conduct public awareness activities, including statewide information and referral systems, designed to provide information that relates to the availability, benefits, appropriateness, and costs of AT.

Establishing an Annual Statewide AT Event

Some states are raising the profile of assistive technology (AT) by establishing a designated statewide AT Week or AT Month. The materials and resources below will provide information to those interested in establishing a designated AT event in their state as a public awareness activity under their AT Act State Plan.
